SDSU Basic Needs Kits San Diego State University

San Diego State’s Basic Needs Kit program allows students to use a Google Form on a monthly basis to request a personalized kit of essential personal care and school-related items including soap, toothpaste, detergent, notebooks, toilet paper, diapers for parents, etc. The Basic Needs Kits provide short-term support while working to connect students to long-term solutions and self-sufficiency resources. As of April 23, 2024, there have been 3,490 individual requests submitted by students.
