Male Success Initiatives Cal Poly Pomona

Cal Poly Pomona’s Male Success Initiative focuses on the retention, graduation, and sense of belonging of Black, Latino and APIMEDA (Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, Desi American)-identified men. Through a combination of culturally relevant programming, mentorship, and academic support, MSI has achieved significant outcomes, including high retention rates and enhanced student well-being. 85% of participants state that MSI supports their overall wellbeing, their academic success, and has contributed to their sense of belonging.
