Dudi Miabok TIER Spring Intern
Joseph Dudi Miabok is a Spring Intern for NASH’s TIER, supporting the team in implementing the Community of Practice for the Kentucky Humanitarian Assistance Scholarship; the NASH-GWU DMV Regional Community of Practice; communications for the organization; and more. Once a refugee in Kenya, Dudi draws on his personal experiences to shape his work. He co-founded Elimisha Kakuma, an initiative focused on providing higher education access to high school graduates in Kakuma Refugee Camp. Dudi is committed to ensuring refugees are included in decision-making processes and recognized not as statistics, but as active contributors with valuable expertise and knowledge. He works to reshape the narrative around refugees, promoting their involvement in knowledge production and long-term empowerment. Dudi holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA-BA) at Virginia Tech.
