NASH Awards
NASH’s Seeding for Change, Testing for Change, and Scaling for Change awards celebrate the transformative power of system-level collaboration in higher education. They recognize efforts aligned with NASH’s broader vision of systemness—the belief that the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.
Our awards highlight systems that have successfully implemented proven programs and strategies, using data to test new ideas, gather results, and expand successful approaches across different campuses or regions. These awards recognize systems that have worked together to tackle immediate challenges, demonstrating how collaboration can lead to lasting improvements. By honoring these efforts, the NASH Awards showcase how systems are building a stronger, more adaptable higher education landscape, with a focus on practical, sustainable solutions for the future.
NASH offers three distinct awards, each representing a different approach to driving and sustaining change across higher education systems aligned with our Seed-Test-Scale approach:
Seeding for Change
This award recognizes a system for developing an innovative initiative or policy that has proven effective and has the potential for scale.
Testing for Change
This award recognizes a system for improving an innovative initiative or policy using data to measure outcomes, gather results, and iterate toward success, highlighting continuous learning.
Scaling for Change
This award recognizes a system for proliferating an innovative initiative or policy across multiple contexts with measurable impact to achieve broader adoption, driving meaningful improvements.
Award recipients will be honored at the NASH 2025 Supercovening, our annual member meeting and policy conference, on March 6-7, 2025 in Washington D.C.
