NASH-Supported Strategies Deliver Results for Transfer Students
December 18, 2025
The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) is driving meaningful progress in transfer student success by applying improvement science to streamline credit acceptance and advising processes, helping students transfer more credits and graduate sooner. This work, involving institutions such as Kutztown, Shippensburg, and Commonwealth universities, aligns with broader efforts championed by the National Association of Higher Education Systems to strengthen transfer pathways and reduce barriers to degree completion for students across institutions. Students like Kutztown’s Cody Wieder are now able to count more of their previous coursework toward degree requirements and save both time and money on their educational journey.
