Maura Kelly Director of Financial Planning and Administration
Maura Kelly (she/her) is the Director of Financial Planning and Administration at NASH. In this role, she leads NASH’s financial operations, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts to support the organization’s mission and sustained growth.
Maura brings over a decade of experience in strategic finance, investment oversight, and nonprofit advisory. Prior to joining NASH, she held key roles at NEPC and Northern Trust Corporation within their OCIO practices, managing institutional investment portfolios ranging from $10 million to over $1 billion for higher education systems, foundations, and other 501(c)(3) organizations. Her work focused on designing and implementing investment strategies, navigating complex disbursement policies, and advising clients on governance, risk management, and long-term financial planning.
She also completed her MBA internship at The Stepping Stones Group, a healthcare organization serving children with disabilities, where she led capital planning efforts and supported M&A strategy across a portfolio of therapeutic programs. Through these roles, Maura developed a strong foundation and passion for aligning financial strategy with mission impact, operational improvement, and data-informed decision-making.
Maura earned her MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and her B.A. in Business from Saint Anselm College. A Boston native, she is passionate about expanding access to opportunity and driving community-centered change through thoughtful and responsible financial leadership.
